Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)

This is a therapeutic treatment designed to help individuals heal from traumatic memories. Through the use of bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements), clients process distressing experiences, leading to emotional relief and cognitive insights. EMDR has been researched and proven effective for trauma-related symptoms.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

This is an evidence-based treatment which focuses on the relationship between events, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. This approach uses our understanding of thoughts to intentionally change our behaviors.

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)

This is an evidenced based approach to treating PTSD which is heavily grounded in cognitive theory. This treatment typically consists of twelve sessions and aims to reduce the symptoms of PTSD through psychoeducation about PTSD and helping individuals identify, challenge, and change their negative thoughts associated with the trauma.

Christian Counseling

Christian based therapy can be interweaved into the therapeutic process and biblical principles can be taught and discussed as it relates to one’s healing and therapeutic goals. As a fellow Christian, it would be my honor to walk with you on this journey of realizing who God created you to be and living in that truth.
